Wildlife in Somalia used to be abundant before the war. But these days, with all those people needing to feed, I'm sure that a dikdik (sagaaro) is seen upon as a delicious bushmeat, rather than conserved as a wildlife heritage. Sadly.
NB: by "endemic to somalia", I mean wildlife native to or confined to Somali-inhabited territories in the Horn (but may have migrated elsewhere )
Now, excuse me, I'm hungry.
Waryaa, waiter.. Get me some hilib-sagaaro, will ya?..
